Scorer of the FA Cup's most famous goal, when his rocket for Hereford United knocked out Newcastle United and won the Goal of the Season on Match of the Day. Incidentally, a goal that also launched the career of John Motson, who was commentating at the time.

Ronnie's old clubs Hereford United and Cheltenham Town both beat Leeds United 1-0 in five days. Ronnie was an ex Leeds United player, but did not play a first team game for them. See Ronnie's Revenge, November 2007
